10 years ago today (August 8th, 2008), Bad Company reunited for a one-off show at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. It was the first time since 1999 that all the living original members — Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke — had performed together. Bad Company’s guys were starting to not get along in fact the song “Good Lovin’ Gone Bad” on Straight Shooter in 1974, reflected that attitude. Here is Paul Rogers:
“I didn’t write that song, it was Mick Ralphs’ song. But he told me that he wrote it especially for me, because the attitude of the band at that time was very much along those lines. And it told a good story and it was a good song to do live.”
Hey, he still wrote you a song.
