Billy Idol is back on the road for his first shows during the pandemic. Here is Billy Idol on touring again.

“Well it’s been truly fantastic. I mean the audiences have been off the hook. I mean they’re hungry just like we are — they’re hungry for the music and we’re hungry to perform. That’s what we do. And so yeah, we’ve been having a great time and it’s been fun seeing people. We’ve been playing shows that are outside so we hope that was a little bit of a preventative measure, you know. But it’s been great and the audiences have been fantastic.”

The shows are in support of his new four-song EP, The Roadside, his first new music in seven years. Here is Billy Idol on his new EP, The Roadside.

“Sometimes you have to wait for the right feeling to come along ’cause you don’t want to just put rubbish out or just anything. But also to we were looking for new people to work with and it just took a little bit of time to work out who they were. But anyway it’s been great. I think the EP came out fantastic and we’re planning to do two more. So this is just the first one.”

Idol is down to the last 2 shows on this leg of the tour, Friday in Roanoke, Virginia and Saturday in Charles Town, West Virginia — before doing a four-night residency at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas starting on October 16th.
