Just five days after saying they were going to tour this year as a four piece band, Judas Priest has backtracked on that decision.

The band announced on Saturday that “given all that has recently evolved and transpired we have decided unanimously as a band to continue our live shows unchanged.” That means the band’s producer Andy Sneap will play guitar alongside Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Richie Faulkner and Scott Travis, with Glenn Tipton joining the band on stage when his Parkinson’s disease allows him to do so.

After the band announced they would play as a four piece on January 10th, Sneap released a statement saying he was disappointed with the decision but that he would continue to work with them on their albums. The initial decision was met with wide disdain by many Priest fans.

Judas Priest are scheduled to return to the road March 4th in Peoria, Illinois.
