It’s a left-handed blue 1969 Fender Mustang. Besides the video, it was also used by Kurt during the recording of the “Nevermind” and “In Utero” albums.
As for the new lucky owner? It’s JIM IRSAY . . . the owner of the Indianapolis Colts. He has a huge collection of pop culture artifacts.
The Cobain Estate also donated a portion of the auction proceeds to Jim’s “Kicking the Stigma” mental health initiative.
