John Mellencamp will be at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Thursday for John Mellencamp Fan Day, which will be highlighted by a conversation and performance in conjunction with the launch of the new Legends of Rock: John Mellencamp exhibit.
The Fan Day experience includes highlights from his induction in 2008; an interactive Garage Takeover where fans can learn, play or sing Mellencamp songs in the Jam Room and more.
The exhibit features the suit he wore in promotional photos for his 2003 album Trouble No More; his 1976 Fender Telecaster Custom guitar; the studio tracking chart for his 1981 song “Jack and Diane”; a guitar gifted to him by David Bowie; and one of Mellencamp’s paintings, “Backbone (2022).”
Mellencamp will also announce his 2023 winter tour at the event.
