When Ozzy Osbourne announced this week that he was canceling the last dates he had and retiring from touring, his band weren’t the only musicians impacted.
Judas Priest had been slated to open all the European shows and had adjusted their schedule each time to accommodate Ozzy’s camp moved the dates. Now that they’re officially canceled, Priest told fans that “We send all our love and support for Ozzy and thank our fans in the UK and Ireland especially for your loyalty by standing with us. Right now we’re looking at feasible opportunities to see each other again soon and will post updates accordingly.”
The Ozzy dates were the only shows Priest had on the books for 2023.
