Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel did their first of their nine Two Icons – One Night  shows on Friday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Like he did on his tour with Elton John and she with Don Henley and Rod Stewart, they joined in on each other’s sets for two duets.

Stevie opened, and four songs in Billy came out to cover Tom Petty‘s part on “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.”

Then, for Billy’s ninth song, Stevie joined him on “And So It Goes” off his Storm Front album.

Also during Stevie’s set, she did “Fall From Grace” for the first time in over a decade, and Fleetwood Mac’s “Sara” in her own show for the first time since 2008.

It was also her first show since the death last November of Christine McVie and she paid tribute to her during the encore of “Landslide.” With images of the two of them on the video screen, Stevie said, “I have to imagine she’s still here. It’s all I can do.”

The next date for Billy and Stevie is April 8th in Arlington, Texas followed by:

  • Nashville – May 19th
  • Philadelphia – June 16th
  • Columbus, OH – August 5th
  • Kansas City, MO – August 19th
  • Foxborough, MA – September 23rd

  • Baltimore – October 7th
