John Mellencamp will open his Dancing Words Tour – The Greatest Hits this Friday, July 10th, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. But he’s giving fans in his home state of Indiana a preview.
He’s just announced an open rehearsal show this Wednesday at 5 CT at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. Entry is free for local residents who arrive with a nonperishable item for the Evansville Rescue Mission.
Tickets will be distributed to those in line on a first come basis. Doors will open at 4:45pm. You can drop off your donation items at the Evansville Rescue Mission vehicles parked on Main Street.
Mellencamp will play 19 amphitheater shows between July 10th in Grand Rapids, Michigan and August 12th in Mountain View, California. It’s his first amphitheater tour in 17 years, and he’s promising a two-and-a-half hour show.
