Foo Fighters just announced their stadium tour yesterday morning (Tuesday), but they’ve already changed one of the shows.
The band pulled their show set for August 3rd at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and said in a statement, “Due to Huntington Bank Stadium’s refusal to agree to the band’s COVID policies, Foo Fighters are not going to be able to play at that venue. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working on finding a suitable replacement — one that will prioritize the health and safety of everyone working and attending the show.”
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that Huntington Bank Stadium has not been requiring masks, proof of vaccine or negative test results for Minnesota Gophers football games this season.
The group’s North American tour starts May 14th in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania and includes stadium dates in new York City, Toronto, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and Denver, plus a few amphitheater shows before wrapping it up with two stadium shows in Los Angeles August 18th and 20th.
Tickets go on sale Friday.
