- One of the things about “Cobra Kai” people like is the music. There’s been Motley Crue . . .Poison . . . Ratt . . . even DEE SNIDER has done a cameo. But you know who hasn’t been on the soundtrack? AC/DC.Series creator Jon Hurwitz said AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” has been written into the script multiple times. Only problem is . . . they’ve never been able to afford it. Quote, “A lot of times we write things into the script, but sometimes we’ll write something into the script that we can’t afford. Our fantasy is having the music budget to have nonstop AC/DC and Bon Jovi and Guns N’ Roses.”
