The career of Jethro Tull will be celebrated with a new official book.
Jethro Tull book – Lend Me Your Ears is an oral history, mixing hundreds of fan anecdotes with memories from the band, their collaborators and fellow musicians such as Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott, Toto guitarist Steve Lukather, Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris, Tool drummer Danny Carey, Joe Bonamassa, and many others.
The 432-page book also contains previously unseen photos from their fans, and will be published in September in three formats — paperback, a boxed Special Edition, and a Super Deluxe edition, which has sold out. It contains:
- A pack of Jethro Tull playing cards
- A set of Jethro Tull drink coasters
- Set of four Polaroid photographs of Jethro Tull
- Jethro Tull set list from a 1976 North American tour
- A high quality copy of handwritten lyrics by Ian Anderson
- A Martin guitar pick with Ian Anderson’s printed signature
- Ian’s personal tour itinerary from the ’90s with handwritten notes by Ian
