With Fleetwood Mac on hiatus, Christine McVie has gone into the studio to rework some of her hits for a new album. Here is Christine McVie on her new album, Songbird.
“They’ve all been produced again by Glyn Johns [with] Vince Mendoza on strings, who does this fantastic version of ‘Songbird.’ But they all sound completely different. That’s out in June this year, and it’s just called Songbird obviously.”
But she’s not saying if she’ll tour behind it. “That I daren’t comment on yet! I’m very cagey about things like that.”
Christine released her last solo album, In the Meantime, in 2004. In 2017 she put out a self-titled album with Lindsey Buckingham.
