The Rolling Stones‘ 60th anniversary will be celebrated with a four-part BBC-TV docuseries.

Each episode of My Life as a Rolling Stone will focus on the last four members of the band — Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts — all with unseen footage and new interviews, except Watts, who died last August at the age of 80 from cancer.

Stones’ manager Joyce Smyth says, “We are thrilled to celebrate 60 years of The Rolling Stones with these four films which give fans around the world a new and fascinating look at the band.”

In addition to interviews with the Stones, it will also feature clips from Chrissie Hynde, Slash, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner and Steven Tyler.

My Life as a Rolling Stone will air on on BBC Two and iPlayer this summer.

In addition to the series, a curated collection of Stones concerts and documentaries will be available on the BBC iPlayer this summer, including Crossfire Hurricane and Totally Stripped. And a two-hour radio special, Rolling With the Stones, will air on BBC Radio 2.
