Court papers reveal that Orianne Cevey, the third ex-wife of Phil Collins, paid a Colombian black magic practitioner $30,000 for a potion that she thought would allow her to control him.
Her former security guard Franck Pala testified under oath that she planned to put “some substances … a black magic” potion in Phil’s wine.
Pala said, “I heard about Mrs. Collins ask another employee of the house to do some kind of magical things and pay for the services, and in return, put some substances in white wine for Mr. Phil Collins … It’s like how you believe in black magic from Colombia, whatever you want to call it.”
Asked what she was attempting to do by “putting this black magic on Phil,” Pala said, “Maybe trying to empower herself over him.”
What’s not known is if she ever received any substances.
Pala stopped working for Orianne in 2020 because of her “craziness.”
The couple were married from 1999 to 2008 and reunited from 2016 to 2020.
This latest court proceeding is over the $40-million Miami estate they shared in which Orianne claims she was promised half of the proceeds from its sale, which Collins denies. His legal team says she committed “fraud on the court” in her bid to get half the proceeds from the house.
