After playing drums on the first five songs of Motley Crue‘s first show of The Stadium Tour last week in Atlanta, Tommy Lee was down to three on Saturday in Miami and Sunday in Orlando before being replaced by Tommy Clufetos, known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath.

Lee, who broke four ribs two weeks ago, came back out to play piano and drums on their 10th song of the set, “Home Sweet Home.”

Motley bassist Nikki Sixx commented on Lee’s performing at the tour opener last Thursday in Atlanta, tweeting, “The fact that Tommy was told by the doctor to not play with four broken ribs & he beasted half our show is a miracle.

“We are a band and are proud of his strength. He is doing the whole tour and day by day adding more songs. What a [bleeping] animal. Anybody out there ever break your ribs?”

The tour, with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett, continues Tuesday night in Washington, D.C.
