Neal Schon has said he wants Journey to hit the road next year for their 50th anniversary with Santana, the band he was in before he and Gregg Rolie split to form Journey.
He now says that a stadium tour is in the works with “someone I can’t really talk about right now.”
Pressed if Rolie or Steve Perry will participate, Schon says, “You know, I think that those two guys were a big part of the band and I think if [it] permits…the fans would overall love it.”
In another recent interview, Schon said he and Perry are “talking and getting to know each other again” but added that they are “not trying to get together musically again.”
Journey are performing in Paso Robles, California tonight before returning to Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday for shows with an orchestra at Resorts World.
