Lindsey Buckingham turns 75 this Monday, but it’s not much of a celebration, as he’s canceled the last three dates on his UK tour due to “ongoing health issues.”
The affected dates are this Monday in Glasgow, Tuesday in Liverpool, and Thursday in Dublin.
These were makeup dates from this past May when he scrapped the tour after he and other members of his band tested positive for COVID.
And, if this sounds familiar, he pulled the plug on his last two U.S. shows — April 30th in Louisville, Kentucky and May 1st in Memphis — due to the same positive COVID tests.
No word on on Buckingham’s fall tour, which starts on October 26th in Bristol, Tennessee and runs through November 19th in Augusta, Georgia.
Buckingham has had more downs than ups these past four years.
He was booted from Fleetwood Mac in 2018; he had heart bypass surgery in 2019; and his wife Kristen filed divorce papers last year, although he said he was hopeful they could salvage the marriage.
The ups were last year’s sale of his catalog and the release of a new self-titled album.
