Genesis have dipped into the BBC archives for a new box set.
BBC Broadcasts will be out as a five-CD or three-LP set on March 3rd. The CD set has 52 tracks (39 of them previously unreleased), while the LP set features 24 tracks. The compilation was assembled by keyboardist Tony Banks and the band’s longtime engineer and producer Nick Davis.
The collection is rare in the Genesis catalog as it features material from all three lead vocalists — Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and Ray Wilson. It spans Night Ride sessions from 1970 up to two songs recorded in 1998 at the NEC London and includes a full concert recorded at the London Lyceum in 1980.
