Gene Simmons is starting to part with pieces of his KISS memorabilia treasure trove, but surprise, surprise, it will cost you.
He’ll host a two-day event at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas on May 6th and 7th. On the first day he’ll share stories about the items he’s passing onto his fans.
He’ll then give away personally selected items from his collection, such as backstage passes, original negatives from photo sessions, a copy of the book KISS & Makeup with his handwritten corrections, a piece of his clothing and more in an old bass tour case.
He’ll also sign two of your personal items and will take a photo with you. Plus the Gene Simmons Band will perform a short set, and you’ll get first dibs (never before offered to the public) on purchasing more of his belongings.
Then on the second day you and others will be his guests at dinner at the VooDoo Steakhouse atop the Rio.
Of course, like most things associated with Simmons, it will not come cheap. The price is $4995 for you and a guest.
