Richie Sambora claims there are reunion talks between him and Bon Jovi.
Sambora made the claim after he lost on the U.K. version of The Masked Singer. When he was asked about playing again with Bon Jovi after the onetime reunion they did for the 2018 Rock Hall induction, Sambora said, “We’re talking about it. I don’t think there’s any reason not to at this point.”
Sambora also spoke about the vocal issues that Jon Bon Jovi seemed to have during Bon Jovi’s tour last year. “Jon was having a hard time with his voice a little bit there and he needed to take a little bit of a breather. I don’t know when Jon’s going to get his voice together and [when a reunion is] going to happen, but we have to get out there and do it for the fans, really. I feel a second obligation.”
Sambora left the band in 2013 for “personal issues” but says he’s still on good terms with his former bandmates.
