It’s official — Paul McCartney will be on the new album from The Rolling Stones.
A source close to the band tells us he’s on “one track,” but as for Variety‘s report about Ringo Starr also being on the album, that’s not true.
Still no word on an album title or when it will be released, with the source telling us it’s “much too early.”
When finished, it will be the first Stones album of original material since 2005’s A Bigger Bang.
Their last studio album was 2016’s Blue & Lonesome, a collection of blues covers.
