Motley Crue took it inside last Friday, doing a club show at the Underworld in London.
Billed as Dogs of War, which is the title of one of the news songs they recently recorded, they treated the 450 fans to an 11-song set that included the premiere of their recent cover of The Beasties Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!).”
In a statement, they say, “This wasn’t our first time playing a SECRET club show and it will definitely not be the last. We love doing this, especially before larger shows. We love when we can play these intimate shows for our fans.”
They’re back with Def Leppard with a show tonight (Tuesday) in Dublin followed by the final date of the European and U.K. run – Thursday in Glasgow, Scotland.
The next U.S. leg, just seven dates, starts on August 5th in Syracuse, New York.
Motley Crue’s club show set list:
- Wild Side

Motley plans to do another stadium tour next year, but not with Def Leppard.
Singer Vince Neil tells The Music Universe, “I think we’re gonna go back in the studio for a couple of more songs. And then we will announce a new stadium tour for next summer. And we’re not sure who’s gonna be on it, but there’ll be another tour.”
On Sunday, bassist Nikki Sixx celebrated his 22nd year of sobriety. He posted a lengthy note on Facebook in which in part he says, “It has been one hell of beautiful and sometimes difficult journey…”
