Aerosmith‘s Peace Out farewell tour is underway.

It started Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia with an 18-song set that appropriately started with “Back in the Saddle” and ended with “Walk This Way.”

The show opened with a 20-minute video retrospective before Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton rose to the stage on a platform behind drummer John Douglas, filling in for Joey Kramer.

The set list spanned their entire career and included “Adam’s Apple” off 1975’s Toys in the Attic, which they last played in 2018.

At one point, Tyler and Perry took to bar stools at the front of the stage to do “Hangman Jury,” “Season of Wither” and the first song they wrote together, “Movin’ Out” off their self-titled 1973 debut album, which they traded stories about. Tyler talked about how he had to keep Perry awake after the guitarist came up with the song’s opening riff.

And for Perry’s spotlight performance, singing Fleetwood Mac’s “Stop Messin’ Around,” he played Jeff Beck‘s white Fender Stratocaster.

The tour runs through January 26th in Montreal, although dates will most likely be added.

Up next is Pittsburgh on Wednesday.
