Elton John will be returning to the stage two days shy of the three-month anniversary of the end of his five year Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour on July 8th in Stockholm, Sweden.
While he never said he wouldn’t perform again, he’s doing this one-off show without his band, and, in of all places, a waterpark.
No doubt being paid big bucks, Elton will open the Legends Arena inside the El Dorado Waterpark in the Dominican Republic on October 6th.
The park bills itself as “the largest and most advanced waterpark in the Caribbean.”
Elton previously said he plans to start work on a new album in October.
