Ozzy Osbourne is so upset that he can’t play Power Trip next month in Indio, California that his family won’t mention anything about concerts around him anymore.
Kelly and Sharon Osbourne spoke with Rolling Stone about Ozzy’s state of mind. Kelly says, “We can’t talk about it in the house because it is just so heartbreaking to see that all he wants is just one more show.”
Sharon adds, “Ozzy wants to be on that show with all his friends. It’s heartbreaking for him to see everybody going on, and he’s just left behind.”
They both say that Ozzy could perform if he were willing to sit for the entire set. Kelly explains, “He could do it right now if he sat in a chair, because the voice is there; there’s nothing wrong with the voice… He said that if he can’t give his fans what they paid to see, he won’t do it”
Judas Priest replaced Ozzy in the Power Trip lineup, which features Guns n’ Roses and Iron Maiden on October 6th, Priest and AC/DC on the 7th and Metallica and Tool on the 8th.
