KISS may be bringing their End of the Road tour to a close next month, but Gene Simmons says it’s not the end of their brand.

He says, “KISS is a universe of its own — movies, merchandise, maybe even Broadway. The band will end, but the KISS experience… it’s immortal.”

So, as for what we can expect, he says, “We have a movie coming out, and we’re working on a cartoon show, a lot of stuff. And of course, all the fun toys and games that will continue.”

And as far as the music is concerned, he says, “The KISS show will live on in different ways. Yes, that’s being planned. It’ll also be four to 10 different traveling shows. So, you’ll be able to be in Japan and have Japanese actors, musicians being us, and at the same time you could go to Vegas or New York or London.”

KISS would not be the first act with their own officially sanctioned. In 2012, Queen launched Queen Extravaganza, which was developed by their drummer Roger Taylor.

KISS are down to the last 11 shows of their End of the Road tour with a stop in Winnipeg, Canada tonight (Wednesday). It will conclude with two shows at Madison Square Garden in their hometown of New York on December 1st and 2nd.
