U2 are launching a new Instagram broadcast channel this month, and they want fans to name it.
A broadcast channel on Instagram allows an account holder to “share messages like announcements, behind-the-scenes content and event details, or upcoming collaborations.”
The band put a post on its website asking for fans to comment with name suggestions and said “please feel free to be as clever as you’d like — puns are welcome!” They even suggested some pun-filled names like “You, Too,” “Zoo Stationary,”
“Spherical” and “Have You Seen My Keys.”
The band will run a poll on its Instagram where fans can pick the winner and it will be unveiled on January 26th when U2 resume their run at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
