Aerosmith‘s farewell Peace Out tour has been on ice since last September when Steven Tyler blew his larynx out after three shows.
While nothing’s been rescheduled, he says his “throat’s been better, but it is on the mend.”
He made the comment Sunday at his Grammys viewing party at the Hollywood Palladium in support of his Janie’s Fund, which he founded to help young women who have experienced trauma.
But, as far as his daughter Mia is concerned, it was one sentence too many. She tells People that though he is “much better,” he’s “not supposed to be talking sometimes, so I have to literally yell at him and be, like, ‘You can’t be on the phone with me right now. Let’s just text.’
“You can’t shut him up — he can’t close that mouth,” she joked, adding that he’s “very healthy.”
