Neil Young has changed his mind and says he and the Chrome Hearts will play England’s Glastonbury festival in June.

On Tuesday Young announced he wouldn’t play because “we were told that the BBC was now a partner in Glastonbury and wanted us to do a lot of things in a way that we were not interested in.” The complaint was a strange one, since the BBC has been the media partner of Glastonbury for decades and Young’s performance at the festival in 2009 aired live on the network.

On Friday morning Young reversed course and wrote on his Archives website, “Due to an error in the information received, I had decided to not play the Glastonbury festival, which I always have loved. Happily, the festival is now back on our itinerary and we look forward to playing! Hope to see you there!”
