AC/DC are the latest act to be honored with a series of stamps from England’s Royal Mail.
The 12 stamps are being issued in commemoration of their first album, 1975’s High Voltage.
Eight of them show the band in concert — two with Bon Scott on vocals, five with Brian Johnson, and one of just Angus Young by himself.
The other four feature the covers of High Voltage, Highway To Hell, Back In Black, and their last one, 2020’s Power Up.
The stamps go on sale February 18th with details at Shop.RoyalMail.com/Special-Stamp-Issues/AC/DC.
AC/DC are the eighth band to be honored by the Royal Mail following The Beatles in 2007, Pink Floyd in 2016, Queen in 2020, The Rolling Stones in 2022, Iron Maiden in 2023, and The Who and Spice Girls in 2024.
In 2018, AC/DC were honored with stamps in their native Australia, but instead of them featuring their Australian album covers, they featured the U.S. editions of High Voltage and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Also included was ’74 Jailbreak, which was never released in Australia.
