It looks like Chad Kroeger of Nickelback and Sammy Hagar are working on some new music together — with some all-star help.
On Sunday afternoon Hagar posted a video of himself and Kroeger along with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. The person holding Hagar’s phone asks him “what are you guys doing?” Hagar responds, “It’s hard to say, we’re trying to figure it out.”
Then after Hagar’s post, Charlie Benante of Anthrax and Pantera posted a photo with Hagar and Kroeger, with the caption, “When you get a call to come over and play drums on a song that these 2 are doing…you drop whatever it is and go. What a spontaneous thing and so much fun.”
Hagar and Kroeger are longtime friends, as the Nickelback frontman has made multiple appearances at Hagar’s birthday bashes in Cabo Wabo, Mexico and was a guest on Hagar’s AXS-TV series Sammy Hagar’s Rock & Roll Road Trip.
