What a difference a year makes for Aerosmith.
In August 2024, they announced their retirement from the road after Steven Tyler fractured his larynx during the fourth show of their Peace Out farewell tour.
But now, just over a year later, they’ve recorded five songs with Yungblud for an EP, and the first single, “My Only Angel,” is sitting atop Billboard‘s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, marking their first time on that chart.
And it also cracked one chart they’re used to, the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, debuting at number-37. It’s their 45th time on the chart, and their first time on it since 2012’s “Lover Alot” off their last album, Music From Another Dimension!
Overall they’ve topped the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart nine times, and have planted themselves in the Top 10 24 times.
The Aerosmith and Yungblud EP, One More Time, will be released on November 21st.
And sticking with their collaboration, Aerosmith have posted a few behind-the-scenes photos and videos on their socials. Apparently Tyler and Yungblud love to hug one another.
