
Alice Cooper has teamed with magician, illusionist and musician Criss Angel to create Welcome to Our Nightmare, a theatrical performance that will open in Las Vegas in March.
Described as a “concert spectacle of magic, music, and mayhem,” the 90-minute show contain all of Cooper’s hits and it promises to “destroy your mind and immerse your senses.”

“We could do so much with that on stage. Now, back then we didn’t have all the technology that we have now — it was 1976. You could imagine what we could do now, you know. And the songs are all written so we don’t have to sit and write anymore songs. It would be fun to do. It would be really fun to do that show again.”
This past April 25th marked the 50th anniversary of ABC airing Alice Cooper: The Nightmare.
The 1975 late-night special showcased music from Cooper’s Welcome to My Nightmare album while he appeared in a series of vignettes, some with actor Vincent Price.
Cooper starred as “Steven” who is trapped in a nightmare he can’t wake up from and tries to escape, while Price portrayed the “Spirit of the Nightmare.”
Before the special, Cooper staged the show in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
