If seeing Motley Crue in concert is on your bucket list, then you better get your tickets for this year’s tour as they’re planning to lay low in 2027.
Bassist Nikki Sixx was asked online about them playing in Japan and he said, “Don’t know if I’ll ever tour there again.
“I love Japan, but after these 33 [U.S.] shows our contract’s up and we will need some real time off to decide what we do or do not wanna do in the future.”
He added that they are taking “next year off.”
But, that doesn’t mean they won’t be working as he went onto say, “There are so many exciting projects ahead this year and next. Motley only has 33 shows this summer, leaving room for other creative ventures. I’ve never been good at doing just one thing at a time.”
Motley Crue start their Return of the Carnival of Sins tour on July 17th in the Pittsburgh suburb of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. It runs through September 26th in Ridgefield, Washington. Tesla and Extreme are the opening acts.
