Nikki Sixx decided to offer up his thoughts on something every music fan has an opinion on — the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Sixx tweeted Sunday night, “I think people get too worked up about the [Rock Hall]. If you get in, that’s cool, and if not, it’s not a big deal. It’s not some elite club that defines you. It’s an award. None of us hopefully make music just for awards. I do like the idea of jamming with other musicians at the ceremony.”
Motley Crue have been eligible for induction into the Rock Hall since 2006, but has never made the ballot. They did win the 2019 “Voice Your Choice” in-museum fan vote in the wake of The Dirt film hitting Netflix.
