Bon Jovi celebrated the release Friday of their new album, Forever, by playing a five-song set that night at the grand opening of Jon Bon Jovi’s JBJ’s rooftop bar and restaurant in Nashville.
While he won’t be touring in support of the album because of vocal surgery in 2022, he did enjoy being back on stage, saying, “It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been up on a stage with some people in the house. “Too long, too long. Yeah, it feels good. I hope it sounds good, because it feels good.”
Their set Friday was, in order, “Blood on Blood,” “We Weren’t Born to Follow,” “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Born to Be My Baby,” and “Legendary.”
And among those in the audience were Motley Crue singer Vince Neil, Jelly Roll and Big Kenny from Big and Rich.
On Saturday, Bon Jovi were at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland for a Q&A ahead of the opening Sunday of their exhibit there, Bon Jovi Forever.
They were inducted into the Hall in 2018.
