The Scorpions are turning to the cameras to tell their story — in a new bio-pic

It will be titled Wind of Change after their 1991 hit of the same name, and it’s being directed by Alex Ranarivelo, known for his work on American Wrestler: The Wizard, with ESX Entertainment producing.

ESX founder and president Ali Afshar says, “When my family fled Iran and came to the United States, the Scorpions’ music changed my life — if not saved it. I’m hoping that by telling the Scorpions’ story, we can bring some of that same inspiration to the world.”

Production is expected to begin this year in Europe with a planned 2025 release, the band’s 60th anniversary.

The Scorpions are on tour with shows in France this Friday and Belgium on Sunday.
