If any Ozzy Osbourne fans expected him to do a full set with Black Sabbath in Birmingham, England on July 5th, they can officially give up that hope.
Osbourne said, “I’m not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but I am doing little bits and pieces with them. I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable.”
Ozzy has problems walking and standing because of Parkinson’s disease, so all of the performing he’ll do solo and with Sabbath at the all-star show will be sitting down. Ozzy added, “I am trying to get back on my feet. When you get up in the morning, you just jump out of bed. I have to balance myself, but I’m not dead. I’m still actively doing things.”
The Back to the Begining concert will include Metallica, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Mastodon and an all-star band that includes Duff McKagan and Slash of Guns n’ Roses, Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, Wolfgang Van Halen and Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine.
