Moody Blues bassist and singer John Lodge was born on July 20th, 1945. Their song “The Story in Your Eyes” was written on acoustic guitar and recorded on eight-track in an old London church. It was on the album Every Good Boy Deserves Favour which peaked at number-23 on the Billboard Hot 100. One of The Moody Blues’ most fondly remembered songs.
