KISS thought they did their final Australian shows last August and September, but they’re heading back Down Under one more time for one last show — “The Final Curtain,” October 7th, at Sydney’s 83,500-capacity Accor Stadium.

It came about after Australian promoter TEG Live launched a petition drive saying, “Let’s go Australia! We’ve heard that KISS are adding more shows to their final tour ever, and we want to be part of the action! Sign the petition to increase our chances of bringing the hottest band in the world to Australia one last time!”

Commenting on the demand, Paul Stanley says, “You have made your voices loud enough that it was impossible for us not to hear you. We are overwhelmed by your petitions and calls for one last KISS so we are now announcing that the End Of The Road will detour one last time to Sydney for a final bombastic farewell. As unexpected as this is for us, we will make it unforgettable for all who share the night with us.”
