Steve Perry has a theory about Journey‘s success that may just piss off founder and guitarist Neal Schon.

All of the Above is Valory’s first album.
He and Smith were kicked out of the band in 2020 after Schon and Jonathan Cain claimed they attempted a “coup” in order to gain control of the Journey trademark.
They were immediately fired and replaced by drummer Narada Michael Walden and bassist Randy Jackson, who was a member in the late ’80s.
And since then, both Walden and Jackson were replaced with the hiring of of former drummer Deen Castronovo, and Todd Jensen on bass.
